Getting here

Come by train

The easiest way to come to Whitstable, especially in the busy summer months, is by public transport. There are direct trains from London and elsewhere along Kent's Creative Coast including Ramsgate and Margate. It is a nice walk through Whitstable's famous alleys to reach the centre, you can view them on our Whitstable Art Map (please pick up a paper copy at the centre for 50p and support our work).

Come by bus

Why not grab a bus from Canterbury or neighbouring Herne Bay if you are already in the area. The Stagecoach triangle route drops off right outside the centre when coming from Canterbury.

Come by car

We are situated in the middle of Whitstable with no free parking available. If you are driving, then the nearest car parks to us are Keams Yard and Victoria Street but these both have under 50 spaces each. Parking in Whistable is not a joyful experience in summer, we are a little town with narrow streets and a small amount of parking. Park out of town and enjoy the views as you walk in, or make use of the public transport.
