Adult Classes and Workshops

There are many activities regularly taking place in the centre. Unless indicated these are not run by the Horsebridge, but tutors who hire our spaces,  so please use the contact information to contact them directly for any queries or to book. 

Some classes only run during term time or have specific start dates, so please make sure you check the calendar or with the tutor before turning up.

Wet felted picture winter workshop with Lindsay Wilkinson

12 November: Learn how to transform a bundle of wool into your own beautiful and unique wet felted picture in this one-day workshop with Lindsay Wilkinson. 

You will develop skills to create a picture using the ancient craft of wet felting, being close to Christmas you can recreate this beautiful robin, or any other image of your choice. 

Printmaking Short Courses Next: Collagraph, 11 & 18 November

A series of short courses with Rochelle Bloom designed for those who want to get back into art and have an interest in developing skills in printmaking, including monoprinting, etching and collagraphs. Each session will last three and a half hours and you will spend the two sessions of each course on the same topic, enabling time to be spent developing your ideas more thoroughly.

Studio Sessions: Creative Workshops

The Horsebridge is launching a programme of Creative Workshops supported by a great community of local artists and teachers.  The workshops will take place in our large, light and airy Studio and our aim is that each session will give people the confidence to try a new skill and take part in creative and enjoyable activities as part of new group.
