This 12 week course is for anyone who would like to improve their technical painting skills and develop their unique approach to making in a supportive group environment.
During this course, we will learn about colour theory and other technical aspects of painting and apply them to student driven projects. Students will be free to work with their preferred subject matter, medium and approach - as long as projects are safe for a shared studio environment and can be transported to and from class. The course will focus on painting skills and techniques, however welcomes interdisciplinary projects and makers with a strong relationship to painting and/or colour.
Selected materials will be available from our ArtBank.
Working with international artist, Camille Serisier, students will gain individual feedback on their projects and also engage in group critique sessions designed to build a sense of supportive camaraderie. The level of study is appropriate for any level from beginners to more experienced artists.
