Join Steve in this Summer daytime special to learn how to use clay for sculpting and make a figure of animal, human or, at least, beings from this general area of the galaxy.
Options for internal and external support will be explored along with building techniques and use of tools. Imagination led designs are welcome but 3d and illustrative examples will be available for referring to anatomy. Multiple figures, merging figures, transformative figures all welcome and encouraged.
Use of tools, clay and firing for 1 large or up to 3 small pieces per person is included, along with refreshments.
Steve Postgate (M.A.Fine Art) recently returned from 10 years of art and drama work in Cyprus and with a background in arts social work, painting and clay sculpture.
