We are excited to bring you a monthly comedy club featuring the best of established and up and coming stand up talent in partnership with Off the Kerb comedy agency. 

Held on the first Sunday of each month the club will provide an intimate setting where you will be able to see rising stars along with some big names trying out new material. At only £12 a ticket (£10 for Horsebridge friends) this promises to be a great local addition to the comedy scene.

Michael Fabbri has been a stand up since 2003 and regularly performs at major comedy clubs throughout the UK and all over the world.

He has worked as a writer for Radio and TV and recently had his own stand up series: 'Dyslexicon' on BBC radio 4. He has done several solo shows at the Edinburgh fringe festival and worked as a support act for Micky Flanagan, Lucy Porter, and Stephen K Amos.

He has an affable and electric style of comedy, with material that ranges from the cerebral to the smutty.

Peter Rethinasamy

Born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother, Peter is a comedian with hard-hitting, punchy jokes and hilarious tales of growing up in Northern Ireland.

Since he started performing stand up, he has reached the semi-finals of the Laughing Horse New Act Competition and won the London Comedy Store’s King Gong Competition. Recently Peter has been supporting Judi Love, Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Russell Kane and Tom Allen on tour around the UK.

Combining his love of comedy writing and acting (he was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain), Peter has been on Comedy Central Live And last year he appeared in Sky original The Heist Before Christmas, alongside Timothy Spall, and directed by Edward Hall. Other recent credits include Ted Lasso (Apple TV), Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC), short film Us & In Between, and Alan Carr’s sitcom Changing Ends (ITV).

Ben Van der Velde

Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter. Over the past decade he has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway. He is a regular host and act for respected British comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Komedia, The Backyard, The Glee, Covent Garden Comedy Club, The Stand, Comedy Loft, Top Secret Comedy, Outside the Box, the Frog & Bucket and Comedy Club 4 Kids, as well as hosting stages for Bestival, Festival No.6, End of the Road and Sunday Papers Live.

He also has experience of performing at RAF Bases, large corporate events, hosting comedy workshops and doing audience warm-up for Deal Or No Deal. On top of that, he has taken commissions to perform a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, founded the Church of the Holy Kazoo with comedy legend Mark Thomas, walked the entire London Underground network to raise money for The Refugee Council, hosted a comedy tour of the FIFA Museum in Zurich and even took part in experiments at The Royal Society that revealed him to have the most infectious laugh of any human, rat or monkey.
