A life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz. Told in reverse, Charles, whose life and impending death from a brain tumor coincide with a bizarre, apocalyptic event where the world seems to unravel. The narrative moves backward from the end of the universe to Chuck's final moments, his middle-aged joy, and finally his childhood in a haunted house. Revealing how simple, meaningful moments are as vast as the cosmos, making it a story about the beauty and depth found in an average life.
