We are very fortunate at The Horsebridge to work with incredible tutors who are passionate about the creative activities they teach in our Studio Sessions. We are exceptionally excited to share that Camille Serisier, who is running three Studio Sessions in our upcoming programme, has been granted a UCA Vice Chancellor PhD Studentship Award at the University for the Creative Arts. Camille will be carrying out a three year doctoral research project investigating multi-authored visual storytelling framed by cultural narratives. How amazing and impressive!
We are happy and relieved to say that Camille will not be giving up teaching with us and will continue to help us bring the amazing courses that have been so well received. So ... why not join them and take advantage of this talent right on our doorstep ...
On Friday afternoons (1 - 3.30pm) starting 8 September join Camille for Painting and Creative projects. This 12 week course is for anyone who would like to improve their technical painting skills and develop their unique approach to making in a supportive group environment. You will learn about colour theory and other technical aspects of painting, based on subject matter, medium and approaches of your choosing that work in a shared environment.
Or perhaps you'd prefer Friday mornings and an Introduction to drawing the figure? From 9.30am to 12noon for 12 weeks this course has been designed to help you improve your observational skills and gain confidence working with figurative subjects.
Or maybe you are looking to improve your pre-existing drawing skills or re-invigorate your love of drawing? Then take a look at the upcoming summer Intensive 3 Day drawing course on 23, 24 and 25 August from 10am to 5pm. You can choose to join 1, 2 or all 3 days.
Huge congratulations Camille from everyone at The Horsebridge!
