Our Young Digital Makers DIGITAL X CREATIVITY #2 exhibition got off to a great start on Saturday. Friends and families filled the galleries to engage with the wide variety of work the group have created during the project and the big summer school too. Visitors got to take part in game playing and creating stop animations in the space too.
The icons that lead you around the space were all designed by the group and they worked hard with our in-house curation team and leaders from UCA Canterbury to layout the exhibition out. The works include sound tracks, animation, photography, games design and short films, all produced by the core group of teenagers and those attending the summer school.
The project is a 2 year funded project, that is reaching its final months, but we are hoping to work with funders Reaching Communities Big Lottery to try to continue the programme over the coming years. Come and show your support for these vital projects and make sure you get along to see the creativity of young people in the district. Watch the animations and get the headphones on to enjoy sound tracks like Duck Fart Party. How could you not?!
