every Thursday during term-time 4 - 5pm
We're letting our imaginations run WILD this term as ancient animals escape from Whitstable Museum into modern Whitstable. Where will they live? What adventures will they have? How will they adjust to the changing environment?
We will be making our own theatre at The Horsebridge to discover the how the creatures' stories will play out, as well as working towards creating art works that will be displayed both here and at the Whitstable Museum in April.
The Horsebridge Young Makers Club is an informal weekly after-school club where young people can learn about different mediums and explore their own art style. There is a different topic each week with an art or craft project to make and take home.
Young Makers Club Sessions can get messy so please make sure that your little artist is wearing something that is ok to get messy in.
Young Makers Club are drop-off sessions. For safeguarding reasons and room space, we ask that only children aged 6-11 attend sessions. We have a gallery space and shop on our ground floor that parents and guardians can explore while children are in the session.
Our sessions offer an inclusive space for young people with disabilities, learning differences and mental health needs and are delivered by experienced staff. If you would like to discuss how we can accommodate your child's needs please email us.
Suggested donation £5 per child but please pay what you are able to.
