Our galleries offer a diverse and dynamic exhibition programme throughout the year. They serve as a platform to showcase work from a wide range of artists as well as art, heritage and community projects curated by The Horsebridge.

The galleries are free to visit and are open to public every day apart from Tuesdays.

Six Exhibition

Artist Collective SIX EXHIBITION returns, bringing together contemporary artists with distinct creative approaches. The exhibition highlights the individuality of each practice while celebrating the diversity of artistic mediums.

Portfolio

Artist Collective 4 artists each with a background of portfolio working, who combine their art practice with other pursuits. Their work, including painting, sculpture and collage, is informed and inspired by their varied careers in tutoring, international fencing, music, therapy, architecture, gardening, painting and decorating & T’ai Chi teaching.

Forward & Flowers

Hannah Forward, Georgia Flowers Forward and Flowers are contemporary printmakers based in East Sussex. Although both working in the shared medium of linocut, they present distinctive collections of prints that reflect their personal artistic styles, themes and subject matter.

30/40 Summer Open Exhibition

Artist Collective The Horsebridge 30/40 Open brings together more than 100 original artworks united by a single format: 30 x 40 cm. Within these shared dimensions, artists explore a range of ideas, techniques and materials, offering a rich collection of contemporary artistic expression in this striking summer exhibition.

Whitstable Creative Collective The Whitstable Creative Collective presents its first exhibition: a group of local people, most showing their work for the first time, who have discovered the artist hidden within them. Free entry throughout.

Lost Doll Found Collective Our first exhibition as a collective explores our relationship with dolls. Often seen superficially as simply ‘a toy’, something which we grow out of, we may have wildly differing and strongly held emotional reactions to them - some of us are fascinated, others find dolls creepy and some are fascinated by their creepiness.
