Our galleries offer a diverse and dynamic exhibition programme throughout the year. They serve as a platform to showcase work from a wide range of artists as well as art, heritage and community projects curated by The Horsebridge.

The galleries are free to visit and are open to public every day apart from Tuesdays.

Celebrating Thanet and Canterbury coast

Bird Wise East Kent and Thanet Coast Project The 3rd annual photography exhibition, celebrating of the wildlife, landscapes and people throughout Thanet & Canterbury coast, lovingly captured by local people.


Andrew Todd and Gordon Butler Inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, two artists present paintings and photographs challenging the conventions of how we view the landscape of a seaside town.

Sky Light: the Lightness and Darkness

Deborah Gilbert and Nick Gilbert A joint exhibition of Deborah's paintings and Nicks photography, both emulating the sky light of their environment in Margate, Kent.


Irene Southon, Lindsay Wilkinson and Sue Moreton Through their work the artists explore the colours and textures of the East Kent shoreline and in particular their local area of Whitstable


The Whitstable Arts Festival 'Unnavigated: Visionary Artists Challenge Nicification,' is a journey through groundbreaking contemporary art featuring a stellar lineup of world class artists.


The title INKSCAPES was intentionally broad, encouraging all members to interpret the theme in their own way, exploring Whitstable, its history and wonderful location in print.

ST/art Textile Exhibition – end period poverty

East Kent community art groups and local artists Work by local art groups, textile artists, schools and colleges raises awareness of period poverty and promotes the production and use of ecologically safe period products.
