Fundraising Art Auction 2019
The auction took place as an exhibition both in the art centre galleries and online from October 31st until 6pm on November 4th.
People were able to bid either in person, over the phone or by biding online.
The auction was only possible thanks to the generosity of all the artists, individuals and businesses who have kindly donated artwork for us to auction. These pages now exist so that if you weren't usccessful you can find the artist again and contact them directly.
Why support us?
Over the last few years we have been successful in securing funding for many different projects that have enabled us to work with many different groups that are harder to get involved: disadvantaged young people, isolated older people and those with mental health conditions. We have been able to provide many activities free of charge and this is now a core part of our work. However, we still need to raise money to ensure that we can continue to provide an arts centre to our community, and all the services this entails.
We will be donating 5% of the proceeds from the auction to Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury in memory of our colleague Ray Hall who died earlier this year.
