Marine Ecology Workshops

SUNDAY 14 AUGUST 2022

As part of a two-day event, on Sunday only, there's an opportunity for members of the family - young and old - to choose one or more marine ecology workshops led by specialists. Whether through fieldwork, dissection, art or poetry this an opportunity to discover the living world along our coast.

While at The Horsebridge, meet the shipwrights and families who built hundreds of wooden craft of all types along Island Wall before the nineteen-sixties. Share your family’s memories, photographs and other memorabilia of their boatyards with our research workers and help recreate this lost industry.
