with Alex Hare
On a book making (or book binding) workshop, we cover all the various types of books suitable for photographers or anyone interested in book making, how to make them and how to think about sequencing. As part of the course fee, you receive a free kit list (and links to buy items). Once your kit arrives you are ready to attend a course!
These workshops are run throughout the year and also with my friend Lizzie Shepherd. The workshop runs over two consecutive half days to allow time for you to do some homework(!) in advance of day 2 and avoid being in a chair all day. We can adapt this to one day delivery if you prefer. You can see a brief sample video of the online tutorials we provide to support our face to face learning via Zoom, here.
You will also receive free access to a complete video tutorial on book making. This video is your companion to the workshop and demonstrates the whole process and all the techniques so you can refer back to it at any stage you need to.
The course costs £80 If you mention The Horsebridge when booking Alex will donate £15 to the Horsebridge. You will also need to buy the kit.
