A new programme of creative digital workshops for young people aged 8 - 16.
After a difficult year for young people we want to give them an opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence and share their personal experiences of the pandemic through art. The work created by participants will feature in an exhibition later on this year and all sessions are fully funded and free.
In this workshop young people will work in a group to learn digital photography skills creating captivating portrait photos. You can bring along your favourite outfit or an item that represents something about you.
A two session mini course on zine making. Young people will learn how to make their own paper mini zine's before transfering those skills into making a digital zine capturing their hopes and dreams for the future.
Hand made photo books; from Digital capture to Display
Learn how to be a bookmaker! In this workshop young people will create a hand made book with a cover design of their choice that can be used to display digital art work, including photographic prints.
Video Making For YouTube
A three session mini course where young people will learn how to make videos for YouTube creatively sharing their experiences of the last year.
A two session mini course. Young people will use digital software to make their own music compositions learning how to use midi indtruments, sampling, loops, and edit their tracks.
