Featuring new photographic prints from Tony’s digital and analogue archive, this collection of montage images curated by Julie Blackman-Nandi explores his process when photographing dance in theatre and performance spaces. Having studied photography with Tony, Sukey’s portraiture work offers a nuanced exploration of identity, transition, and societal dynamics. Her approach to photography blends intimacy with a subtle theatricality, and the portrait as both dialogue and puzzle. Introducing work by young photographers from the 2022 and 2023 Deal Music & Arts Tony Nandi, ARPS Photographic Award.
