Delivered by Graham Birrell (who presents the sell-out ‘A Very Whitstable Murder’ evenings at The Playhouse), this short course is aimed at all true-crime lovers. Each week looks at a real-life historical murder with one central question – was the prime suspect guilty? Using the original documents from the actual case files held at the National Archives, the participants in this course become the jury on some of the most infamous murders in British history. Blending detective work and historical skills, each week will be highly interactive and discussion based, with all participants needing to play their full part as the group investigates the evidence together.
