During this workshop you will draw from a life model and have the option to create a clay figure.
Life drawing option (Bring your own materials). £15

Some drawing advice is offered (if wished).
There will be meditative music to work to.
No photography.
Sculpture Option. £30
Steve Postgate will help you make a clay figure from a life model (sometimes nude)
Cost includes clay & tools. If you are happy with your creation, you have the option to have your figure fired and glazed (£5 cash for each payable on the day).
Steve will guide you through the creation of a human like figure, or any part, using three dimensional observation techniques based off a life model. You have the freedom to concentrate on head, torso, knee, hand or full figure, whichever you choose, Stephen will help you with looking and structuring a sculptural figure.
If you select to have your piece fired, it can be collected from the Horsebridge Centre after firing in Steve’s home kiln.
