These monthly sessions are open to anyone who has always wanted to try oil painting, or, are already using oils but want to spend some time in the company of other oil painters, developing and continuing to learn how to get the most out of this medium.
Gaven will be on hand with advice, hints and tips to really help you gain confidence in using oils and can suggest small projects or subject matter to try painting if you are in need of some inspiration.
The workshops are held in our light and airy studio with all basic materials you will need to get you started included in the price, as well as refreshments available throughout the morning.
Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy in and if you have materials of your own you want to work with you can also bring these too.
Gaven creates such a relaxed atmosphere during his workshops, taking away any pressures from learning or developing a new skill, Gaven is easy to talk to and open to any questions you may have enabling you to enjoy and push your painting forward with confidence.
Gaven has been painting for over 30 years with oil paints and is looking forward to passing his experiences on with you.
