Trustees
We are currently looking for new Trustees to join the Board of The Horsebridge.
Are you passionate about creativity and looking for a way to give back to your local community? We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your professional skills or lived experience to help steer our organisation toward its next chapter.
As a Trustee you will be a vital part of our leadership team, helping to Set the Strategy, Ensure Sustainability and Champion the Arts. To ensure our board is well-rounded, we are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with backgrounds in Finance and accounting, Marketing and digital media, Legal or governance and Community Engagement.
No prior Board experience? No problem. We value diverse perspectives and “lived experience” just as much as professional qualifications. We provide a full induction and support for first-time Trustees.
Be part of a passionate, creative team of committed staff, volunteers and board members, that strive to make a major contribution to the cultural life of Whitstable. We are a small, independent and nimble organisation that is able to quickly respond to changing environments. The role can be much more than monthly board meetings; join private views, project launches and more. Apply your skills in a new way while gaining experience within the charity sector and our role in the community.

Volunteers
We are very fortunate to have amazing volunteers. We have volunteers undertaking a variety of different activities and also support volunteers with additional needs.
Our volunteers help put up exhibitions, create artifacts for special events, support staff on the front desk along with those behind the scenes donating time to create artwork, fix computers, paint walls and deliver brochures.
If you think you may be able to volunteer, please get in touch. We may not always have opportunities available immediately, but we can add you to our list of willing volunteers.
