
For the last 6 years the Horsebridge has been proud to host a series of exceptional print based exhibitions, developing a reputation as a venue for national and international print artists to showcase and sell their work in our ground floor galleries.
It has now become a tradition to begin the start of our yearly annual creative programme with a Horsebridge led curated print exhibition and this year we are delighted to be holding our FIRST print based OPEN show.
We are inviting submissions from both established and emerging printmakers, to celebrate contemporary printmaking, showcase a rich variety of limited edition hand printed work and give you, the artist, an opportunity to exhibit and sell your prints alongside other contemporary print artists.
You can purchase up to three submissions. Once you have purchased you will be emailed a document that confirms the Submission Terms and Conditions you have agreed to along with further information on how to submit all the information.
KEY INFORMATION
Digital Submission
• Deadline: 20 December 2025
• Spaces in the exhibition are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Your place will be confirmed once the submission fee has been paid. Submissions will close once all available spaces have been filled.
• Links to the Terms and Conditions and how to submit information for labels and marketing can be accessed once payment has been received.
Eligibility: Open to all printmakers
• Print Techniques: Any hand-printed technique (e.g. etching, woodcut, linocut, screenprint, lithograph, monotype, collagraph, drypoint). Digital-only prints (inkjet/laser) are not accepted.
• Originality: All prints must be original, signed, titled, and editioned (if applicable).
• Size: Framed works must be no larger than A2 (40cm x 60cm approx.).
Presentation:
• Up to three framed pieces, ready to hang (with a wire or cord).
• Up to five unframed browser prints per entry can be submitted for no extra cost in clear packaging, backed with card and clearly labelled with name, title, medium and price. These prints DO NOT have to be editions of your framed entries.
Entry Fees:
• £30 – 1 image
• £55 – 2 images
• £80 – 3 images
Entry fees are NON refundable.
Sales & Commission:
• Sales of framed works are subject to a 10% fee to cover gallery administration costs.
• 35% commission will be taken on sales of any additional unframed editioned browser prints.
• Proceeds of any sold works will be paid once the exhibition has close. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SECURELY PROVIDE BANK DETAILS WHEN ENTERING TO ALLOW FOR PROMPT PAYMENT AT THE END OF THE SHOW.
