Competition Guidelines

Entries must be submitted 13 January 2025 via Instagram. Please make sure you use the hashtag #LINOPRINT4 and tag in @LINOPRINT4 @HANDPRINTEDUK

Winners will be judged by panel on 20 January 2025.

Maximum size of work must be no bigger than 40x50cm including frame.

You must be 16 or over to take part in the competition.

If successful, the following terms and conditions apply:

Delivery/collection
- Work should be delivered to the centre between 15 - 25 January.  
- Unsold works will be available for collection from 25th February. Return collection must be arranged by the artist. 
- Any deliveries outside the UK may incur import/duty costs. Any additional fees for delivery and return of artwork are the responsibility of the artist. Address: The Horsebridge, 11 Horsebridge Road, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1AF.
- On delivery, all work must be clearly labelled with artist name and title of work and price on the back of the artwork and and supplied with a delivery note clearly noting the titles and prices. 

Hanging criteria   
Entries Framed works should be strung with picture wire/cord and be ready to hang. Due to the volume of image rich work, the simpler the frame, the better please.  

Additional prints
You may include up to 5 browser prints alongside your winning entry. These must be wrapped and priced, ready for display and include a delivery note detailing prices and quantities. 

Sales
The Horsebridge Arts Centre will be responsible for any sales during the exhibition and will take 30% commission

Private View
A special opening is scheduled to take place on Saturday 1 February, times to be confirmed.

Publicity
We will have a dedicated page on our website and the show will be promoted via social media.  
If your submission is successful you will need to supply an image of your work, a biography and any links to websites/social media

Whilst the organisers of the exhibition and the Horsebridge Arts Centre will take all reasonable care to look after submitted works they cannot be held responsible for any loss or damages to the work. Works are not insured by the centre's policy, if you wish your work to be insured this is the responsibility of the entrant, please contact the centre if you have any queries about this.
