Enjoy a creative couple of hours making a clay figure or figures of your choice with the gentle demonstration and advice of experienced sculptor Steve Postgate.
It could be based on a picture or memory of your family dog, a dancing couple or a trophy for when you achieved ‘the crab’ in yoga. Anything that feels emotionally interesting or memorable.
Options for internal and external support will be explored along with building techniques and use of tools. Imagination led designs are welcome but 3d and illustrative examples will be available for referring to anatomy. Multiple figures, merging figures, transformative figures all welcome and encouraged.
Use of tools, clay and firing for 1 large or up to 3 small pieces per person is included, along with refreshments. Price includes clay and firing.
