From theatre and films to workshops and regular classes, there is always something for families at The Horsebridge. 

Please view the details for each activity to see how to book, some are run by tutors who hire our spaces, so contact them directly for any queries or to book.

Some classes only run during term time or have specific start dates, so please make sure you check the calendar or with the tutor before turning up.

Art Den

Wednesday Come along with your little one to paint, draw and model at this weekly creative play session, with different art activities each week to enjoy together. Please make sure you bring or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!

Family Art Club

Saturday For children of any age who like to be creative to enjoy with parents, guardians or grandparents in a supportive and inspiring space.

Mini Makers Club

Monday An informal weekly club where younger children can explore different mediums and their own art style.

Young Makers Club

Wednesday An informal weekly after-school club where young people can learn about different mediums and explore their own art style. There is a different topic each week with an art or craft project to make and take home.

Hey Diddle Music

Thursday Hey Diddle Music sessions are full of songs, movement and instrument play for very young children and their families. The structured classes open up the world of music in a relaxed and stimulating environment.

La Jolie Ronde - Preschool French class

Friday It's never too early to let your child experience a foreign language. Little ones love our fun classes full of songs, stories, toys and laughter, with friendly French bears Bonbon and Suzette.

Little Science Society

Thursday This Science course is suitable for all home educated budding scientists age 5-11 and accompanying grown-ups. Delivered in small groups to ensure individually tailored approach.

TDA: Performing Arts (Ages 4–6)

Tuesday A fun, imaginative weekly performing arts class where children aged 4 to 6 explore singing, dancing and drama through games, storytelling and creative activities. Perfect for building confidence, creativity and making new friends in a welcoming environment.

Tuesday A fun and engaging weekly performing arts class where children aged 7 to 11 develop their acting, singing and dance skills through exciting games, creative activities and performance projects. A fantastic way to build confidence, creativity and make new friends.

New Home Education Minecraft Coding Group!

Tuesday Children will learn to code within Minecraft using Microsoft MakeCode, developing valuable skills such as problem-solving, logical thinking and debugging - all while creating and playing in their own Minecraft worlds.
