SHIFT with Lara and Jodi is a Barre Fitness class that combines elements of ballet, pilates and yoga to create a vibrant workout. Weekly classes will be shared between Lara and Jodi on a rotating basis. Each teacher brings their own style to the class, whilst also exploring sequences developed together. We hope to encourage a shift in energy, getting rid of what no longer serves us, returning to or developing a feeling of freedom in our bodies, whilst getting a strong workout too!

Experience in ballet, barre, yoga, or Pilates is not essential. All fitness levels are welcome. No equipment needed. No shoes, but wear socks (not grippy ones).

About the teachers:

Lara Piras and Jodi Muter-Hamilton, Co-founders SHIFT 

Lara Piras is a classical and contemporary-trained dancer and yoga and Barre Fitness teacher with a pure love of movement in all forms. She blends her ten-plus years of yoga teaching experience with her dance background to create upbeat, energising Barre Fitness classes that also incorporate elements of traditional ballet. 

Jodi Muter-Hamilton is a Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and Barre Fitness teacher who enjoys both the discipline and strength building results of Pilates and the dynamic, moving to music, raised tempo and heartbeat that Barre Fitness delivers.
