5 week course
15 Sept to 13 Oct from 10am - 12pm each week.
This course is ideal for beginners and those with some experience in drawing and watercolour painting. You will be able to develop observational and expressive drawing techniques in the first few sessions of this 5 week course. After that, you will immerse yourself in the evocative surroundings of the Whitstable harbour and seashore, capturing and exploring the colours, shapes and textures with ink and watercolour. Weather permitting this course will involve outdoor sketching and returning to the studio to develop your paintings.
Materials:
Watercolour paint can be supplied by the Centre; it is recommended that participants have their own sketching materials (details of which will be provided)
