Whitstable Harbour Day takes place on Saturday 15th August with a day long programme of maritime themed events for all the family, including 3 fun family craft workshops here at the Horsebridge.
All workshops are free with a suggested donation of £5 and booking is recommended.
11 am - 12pm: Anchors away! Make and decorate your very own ship’s anchor! Using a mix of craft materials, design a unique nautical keepsake to take home - just bring your imagination and be ready to create something shipshape!
1 pm - 2pm: Coastal Treasure Frames. Design your own cardboard photo mounts using nautical craft materials and beach finds to decorate a frame with seaside inspired touches to showcase your favourite memories.
3 pm - 4pm: Light up Seabed Reefs
Turn recycled egg boxes into a glowing seabed reef! Using a mix of colourful craft materials, design your own underwater scene, complete with a safe LED tealight that makes it shine in the dark.
